Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 24, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how Clearfinal Inc. ("Clearfinal," "we," "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit www.clearfinal.com and its subdomains (the "Site") or sign up to receive our pre-launch updates. It does not apply to any financial services — none are offered during the pre-launch period — and it will not govern customer accounts opened after launch, which will be covered by separate customer privacy notices delivered at onboarding.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide: your name and email address when you sign up to receive launch updates, and — if you choose to answer optional questions — your country, company name, and responses indicating your areas of interest in Clearfinal’s planned services. Optional questions are exactly that: answering them (or not) does not affect your registration for launch updates. Do not submit sensitive personal information, account numbers, or financial details through the Site — none are requested or required.
Technical and usage information collected automatically: IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type and version, device identifiers, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, timestamps, and interaction data, collected via the cookies described in Section 4.
Information from service providers: our hosting, email-delivery, and security providers may furnish aggregated or technical data about Site usage and traffic quality.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to: operate, secure, and improve the Site; maintain the launch-updates list and send pre-launch informational email you have consented to receive (each message includes an unsubscribe mechanism honored promptly); respond to inquiries; conduct product planning and market research using aggregate analysis of optional-question responses; protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents; comply with law and enforce our Website Terms of Use; and, at launch, invite launch-updates registrants to begin onboarding. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Site information for third-party targeted advertising.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site uses strictly necessary cookies, required for core functionality and security, and — only where you have given consent — analytics cookies. Analytics are provided by Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics and are used solely to understand how the Site is used. No analytics or other non-essential cookies or pixels are set before you consent, and you may accept or reject analytics at any time through the cookie banner or the Cookie Policy. The Site does not use advertising or marketing cookies or pixels. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may impair Site functionality. Where legally required, the Site honors Global Privacy Control signals; the Site does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals.
5. How We Share Information
We share information only: with service providers performing functions for us (website hosting, email delivery, and security) under contracts limiting use to our instructions; with professional advisors (counsel, auditors) under confidentiality obligations; in connection with a corporate transaction (merger, financing, reorganization), subject to this Policy; and as required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security, including cooperation with regulators. We do not share launch-updates information with third parties for their own marketing.
6. Retention
We retain launch-updates information until launch onboarding is offered and completed or declined, or until you unsubscribe, and thereafter as needed for legal compliance and recordkeeping. Technical logs are retained for twelve (12) months. When retention ends, information is deleted or de-identified.
7. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and logging. No internet transmission is perfectly secure; you use the Site at your own risk, and we encourage you not to submit information beyond what the Site requests.
8. Children
The Site is not directed to children under thirteen (13), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at privacy@clearfinal.com and we will delete it.
9. International Visitors
The Site is operated from the United States and is intended for a U.S. audience; it is not directed to residents of the European Union/European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or the United Arab Emirates. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be processed and stored in the United States. To the extent the EU General Data Protection Regulation, UK GDPR, or the UAE Personal Data Protection Law nonetheless applies to our processing of your information, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your information, to object to processing, to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing), and to complain to your local supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@clearfinal.com; we may need to verify your identity and will respond within legally required timeframes.
10. U.S. State Privacy Laws
Clearfinal does not currently meet the applicability thresholds of the California Consumer Privacy Act or similar U.S. state comprehensive privacy laws. Residents of any state may nonetheless submit requests regarding their personal information to privacy@clearfinal.com; requests will be honored where required by, and in accordance with, applicable law.
